We will be playing at the Backafestivalen in southern Sweden 18-19th of July. Looks like a real fun and intimate festival. Come on out!

Janne and I will will be playing a the great blues festival in Sweden ÅMÅL BLUES FEST 10-13th of July.

After our gig at the DOBROFEST in Trnava, Slovakia on the 26-28th of June, 2008 we will be doing a few gigs in Italy on July 4th and 5th through the ROOTSWAY organization in Italy. See you there!

T-Model Ford was recording a new cd for Mud Puppy Records in February at Red's Lounge in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Bill Abel was doing the recording and I assisted. This is T-Model's first one in a while, and it was fun working with him. Bill and I did some guest spots in the recording, but who knows what makes it to the final cut! Pictures here!

Cadillac John, Bill Abel and myself as guest on mandolin did a gig at the NEW DAISY THEATER in Memphis on January 30th 2008, and Bill and I did a gig at some juke joints after that and Ground Zero, in Clarksdale, Mississippi on February 9th, 2008. Pictures of the gig at Ground Zero.

I was in Italy in December 2007 gigging with Cadillac John Nolden and Bill Abel at the IL BLUES 25th anniversary and a couple of other places near Parma.We had a great time and will be getting together again after having played in Mississippi in April 2007.

I put up some video clips on YOUTUBE (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=bdeivert) of me and Janne playing in the Czech Republic and in Finland, and some clips of me jamming with Bill Abel and T-Model Ford in his yard, and onstage with Bill and Cadillac John Noldenin Mississipp and later in Italy. Bill is a great guy and wonderful bluesman from Belzoni, MS, now living in Deeson, not too far from Clarksdale. He and Cadillac John are a great duo, and hopefully there will be some recordings available out there soon!

Janne and I were recently in Finland at the BLUES LIVE! festival in Jyväskylä. Great organizers and great audiences. Thanks to Hessu, Jouni, and all the others for a great time! Finland is a great place for the blues, and we later met up with fellow Blues Live performer Michael Powers for a couple of fun gigs in Sweden. I will put some pics up soon.
